If you’ve built something from the ground up, you know the highs and lows of being an entrepreneur. You know what it’s like to make the tough calls, to take risks no one else understands, and to carry the weight of a growing business.
That’s why this event isn’t a keynote. It’s not a panel. It’s a conversation between founders.
On May 13, join EO San Antonio for an honest, no-BS discussion with Roy Seiders, co-founder of YETI—a guy who knows exactly what it takes to scale a brand from an idea to a $2 billion company.
Roy isn’t coming to give a polished speech or a highlight reel. He’s coming to have a real conversation about what it was like to build YETI—the breakthrough moments, the brutal mistakes, the decisions that changed everything.
What We’ll Talk About
The scrappy early days of YETI—how a frustration with coolers turned into a movement
The biggest mistakes Roy made while scaling the company (and what he’d do differently)
How YETI went from one great product to an entire category-defining brand
What it’s really like to navigate leadership, investors, and billion-dollar decisions
How success changes the game—and the personal side of building something massive
It’s not often you get to hear from someone who’s been through all of it—the risks, the pivots, the near-failures, and the moments where you realize, ‘Holy sh*t, we actually did it.’
Who Should Be in This Room?
If you’re a founder, an entrepreneur, or a business owner trying to scale, pivot, or just survive another day in the trenches, this conversation is for you.
And if you’ve ever felt like no one else gets what it’s like to be in your position, then you already understand why EO exists.

About Roy Seiders
Roy Seiders co-founded YETI with his brother Ryan in 2006, after realizing that most coolers weren’t built to last. What started as a personal frustration turned into one of the most recognized and respected brands in the outdoor industry.
As CEO, Roy led YETI’s product innovation and brand development, growing the company into a publicly traded giant with $2 billion in annual sales. Today, he continues to shape YETI’s future as Chairman while also investing in other high-growth startups through YETI Capital.
He and his wife Kathi live in San Antonio with their five kids and spend as much time as possible hunting, fishing, hiking, and giving back to Texas conservation efforts.
